Welcome to our new blog!

We’ve unfortunately had to close our web shop – but that’s good news! It means that we have more time to share our craft creations: we’ll be showing you each month what you can make and take at our craft club, and afterwards the instructions to remind you how you made it! Please leave a comment or two so that we know that you’ve browsed… and what you’d like to see in future projects :)

Denise has created these fabulous cards ready for teaching at Craft Club this Saturday (19th May).

Twelve Tags for 2012 – May

Neil has just finished his tag for May, featuring air dry clay Lily of the Valley flowers on a Distress Stain and pearlised background. He’ll be showing how to make this tag, and an accompanying card at the Craft Club, 21st April. More details of the Craft Club can be found here. Read on for instructions on how to make this fabulous tag. Continue reading

Twelve Tags of 2012 – April – Instructions

So find a size 6 manila tag, some white thin card, a napkin, a bit of gesso, orange flock and Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink – and not forgetting a bit of bling!

Twelve Tags for 2012 – March – Instructions

Apologies for the delay in posting instructions for the tags for March and April – Neil has been busy at college and demonstrating at the NEC! It turns out that doing both tags in our Craft Club session was a little ambitious, so hopefully these instructions will help the tags get finished off! Here’s what you’re making, in case you’d forgotten:

All you need is a luggage tag (size 6), Tim Holtz Terminology tissue wrap (or similar backing paper), distress ink, double sided tape, embossing powders, a steady hand and a sharp knife and a page torn from an unused book. A downloadable stencil template for the daffodils is available from Neil’s blog, perfectly4med.co.uk.

Sue will be hosting another project (she’s keeping it a surprise until the day). And Kathryn will be showing you how to make this:

Twelve Tags for 2012 – March & April

Hi Manic Stampers!

Neil has put the finishing touches to his tags for March and April – he’ll be teaching how to make them during March’s Craft Club on Saturday 17th March. As normal, those attending the Manic Stamper Craft Club get first go, and instructions will be posted here after that date for those that can’t make it, or can’t remember how we did it! Instructions are now available for the March tag.
