Just to let you Facebook aficionados know that we now have a Facebook page set up and running. We’ll be linking blog posts to the page so that you know when there’s new projects here, as well as announcing the program of summer workshops that Neil is planning: there’s going to be a Tim Holtz inspired altered art wall hanging, an advanced card craft session ‘Cards that Move’, and a ‘Stashbuster Clinic’. Can’t wait!
February Projects – Scrapbooking
Kathryn’s project this week will cost £4.00. The project converts a Cricut cartridge box into a themed trinket case. There will be a book inside the box approx 6” x 3”. You will need to bring any little trinkets you’d like to adorn the box with (there will be buttons, ribbons & threads available) and any pictures that you wish to put inside the book – these can be personal photos or of your favourite things, places etc.

Twelve Tags for 2012 – February
Since joining the Design Team at Wow! Embossing Powders, Neil has been finding new uses for all their wonderful colours and embossing glitters. Their stamps have come in handy too! Here is his tag for February, which will be on the make list for January’s Craft Club as well (he won’t be at the February Craft Club as he’ll be at the NEC for the Stitches Trade Show). Full instructions follow the photo.

Happy New Year from all at The Manic Stamper!
Neil has been busy creating ready for Craft Club sessions this year and has hit upon an idea based on Tim Holtz’s 12 tags for Christmas: Twelve Tags for 2012. Each tag will be themed to the month it’s made in, and instructions will be posted here after the Craft Club. Here are the teaser pics for January’s tag – let us know what you think
All you need is a luggage tag (size 6), white gesso, distress inks and some paper… and a bit of sandpaper, a brush, some thick card and an embossing machine. And a Cricut would be helpful too.
More Christmas Distress Cards
Here’s Neil’s November Project – more distressing and emboss resist work, this time using two colours direct to the card, and a tag thrown in too:
